Reward offered for excrement offender

By Allan Povah

The DDCCH are offering a reward of 500,000 pesos for information that leads to the arrest of a canine wanted for several shitting offences across Cairns and the northern beaches over the last few weeks.

The animal, pictured above, answers to the name “Monty” and was last seen on 2 November defecating in the on-leash area of Trinity Beach. He is wanted in connection with other alleged offences on Ellis, Clifton, Kewarra, Holloways and Machans beaches.

Recently, the DDCCH has recently introduced sweeping changes to dog enforcement strategies with Commissioner Desmond Bowe hailing the initiatives as a major success.

In a statement today, Bowe urged the public to treat the wanted animal as “licky” and, if seen, do not approach. Contact Crimestoppers or departmental officials immediately.
