“We pride ourselves on a great service and fixing up shit work done by dodgy operators,” explained Chief Operating Officer, Dale Finch. “It can cause a bit of tension when we call the cowboys out on their fuck-ups, but the promise of a teener of frosty always calms them down.”
In his acceptance speech, industry veteran Finch opined over the rapid and wholesale changes occurring in the industry.
“The underwear revolution is the biggest thing since the high-vis revolution,” said Finch. “And the youngsters aren’t ready for it. We’re seeing a lot of undie emergencies because of all the Badger-wannabees throwing away their trusty Bonds and entrusting their Edward Longfellow to some newfangled kit. Playing a game of Japanese rugger is nothing like managing a sweaty sack in Yorkey’s Knob in the wet season. Fuck no.”
The Left-Handed Screwdriver award for Apprentice of the Year went to Blayne Boak of Toucan Electrics.
