Offensive signage removed from Coastwatchers bus stop

By Kimberley Schloss

Trinity Beach locals were pleased today to see that Council has acted quickly in removing advertising signage on the bus stop seat (above) near Coastwatchers Park.

The advertising had contained a promotional picture of popular real estate agent Mark “The Elite Performer” Carmady. Sometime in the last week, Mr Carmady’s portrait had been defaced with the addition of vampire teeth and a caption that suggested he was not a trustworthy person.

Mr Carmady, who is currently on a working holiday in the Carpathians, took to Twitter to express his relief at the removal of the offensive material.

“Salutări de la Mukachevo. Bună treabă a Consiliului să cureţi. O mulţime de locuri de mare de vânzare în TB. Trebuie să ai încredere în mine”, he tweeted.

Whitney Westerweel was contacted in relation to this story but was unavailable for comment.
