Portrait competition unleashed!

By Murray Murchison.

Calling all artists!

The Plain Dealer has launched another competition aimed at unearthing some of the great artistic talent in North Queensland.

In the past, our limerick and haiku competitions have been very popular, but at the Plain Dealer, we are always looking closely at the visual arts.

This year, the challenge is to create a visual representation of the magnificent Guy Sebastian (above). There are no stipulations as to the form your entry can take. It can be a watercolour, a clay sculpture, a sketch or a gif. It is all up to your imagination. But please consider the fro carefully!

This year, we are sponsored by Hillsong Church, Mission Foods and BCF. Please head over to the dedicated page on our website to download an entry form and pay the $66 entry fee (+GST). Entries close at the end of November and results will be announced on the 15th of December.

Good Luck!

The Trinity Beach Plain Dealer reserves the right to judge the winner, and no correspondence shall be entered into. On receipt, the Plain Dealer acquires ownership of submission and may dispose of the submission in any way the editorial team sees fit, including dumping, burning, flushing, composting, dropping over the Barron Falls and selling for profit or loss. As always, please gamble responsibly.
