Belgian Bomber tunes up on the Espy

The Cairns Esplanade was closed last night to allow filming of the the hugely successful UltraTune ‘Unexpected Situations‘ series.

Extra security was required because movie superstar, Jean Claude Van Damme, pictured above outside Villa Romana on the Esplanade, was appearing in the latest installment.

“Jean Claude really brings something to the series,” said director Bruce Beresford. “It was getting a bit stale just having the girls flounce around the place.”

UltraTune North Queensland General Manager Jessie Ogilvie said that he was rapt to have such a massive star associated with the brand. “It’s awesome,” Ogilvie said. “The two things that North Queenslanders love is fixing cars and chasing crocs. And beating the shit out of people. JCVD is a perfect fit for the brand.”

After the shoot, Van Damme thrilled fans with an impromptu kick-dancing demonstration atop a table at  the Woolshed.
